Longbranch
This 1,100 s.f. block cabin, about 300 feet from the house, also gets its name from the Gunsmoke series; Longbranch was the saloon where many a Western traveler tipped a glass or two. The cabin – which has also served as a comfortable, year-‘round residence – has a full kitchen and bath, gas furnace, fire place insert, electric hot water and accommodations for 10. It’s cozy and warm and, when the windows are open, the air is filtered through the 80-foot fir and pine trees around it. A small, spring-fed creek runs nearby and just above it, an old orchard still feeds the wildlife.
