Solar Thermal

The Oventrop solar thermal panels and control station were installed in 2010, though from the beginning the Watts Radiant HydroControl panels were designed to permit additional solar heat to feed into the radiant heat system.

Dave Yates also installed the solar panels. The Lodge now has near-free domestic water heat for showers and clothes washing. The Oventrop panels and other components are among the best available worldwide.
