Rainwater Harvesting
Most of the garage roof area drains from the gutters into underground pipes, and from there into a 1,700-gallon rainwater catchment tank. The system was manufactured by Graf, a German firm that ships products into the US through Brae - a Watts company. It's another one of those best-money-can-buy systems. We use the rainwater for late spring and summer garden hose irrigation of the trees.
